Town And Country Simple Egg Nog (1870)

Egg Nog.

Take the yolks of eight eggs, beat well with powdered sugar; then add wine to the taste; then beat all well together, and add boiled milk sufficient to disguise the liquor; add a little nutmeg; beat the whites of the eggs to a stiff froth, and put on top.
